Not an eagle. Rough-legged's are very white on underside, and large and there are a lot of them around this year. So hard to tell from this photo.

Pretty sure it is not an eagle, but it is a raptor of some kind. Seems too big for Coopers Hawk, so I would guess Red-Tail?

Driving home on Dickens, just past Cico, I spotted this gorgeous bird snacking on roadkill. Had to do two upturns to get the picture with my phone. Apologies it’s not more clear!

This was taken at Tuttle Creek State Park, mid-afternoon on Christmas Day. There are at least 8, likely 9, and possibly 10 (the tenth would be the one in the air near the left edge of the photo) eagles here, at least 6 of them adults. There likely were more around. I was able to watch eagles in flight, and observed a few of these in this picture as they landed. It was an incredible sight.

This cardinal was spotted and photographed by Matt Binter.

This might be the same eagle as my 1/15/12 photo below. Its in same place at Tuttle Creek State Park outlet area. I watched it perched for probably at least a half-hour before it flew and I was rewarded with this image.
